Value-addition policies have a long and checkered history in mineral-producing countries. What can we learn from past challenges and successes? How can these experiences be translated into legal frameworks? This session will focus on sharing lessons learned and effective approaches to support industrial development. It will cover the balance between legal requirements and other tools. In addition to a panel discussion, participants will be encouraged to share experiences from the floor.
