This session, organized by UNCTAD, presents insights from an UNCTAD project on identifying opportunities for countries to diversify their economies along energy transition mineral value chains and beyond. The project uses an innovative methodology to advise countries on which new products they may best placed to start producing, and how to achieve this. The session will draw on experiences from the three countries involved in the project: Madagascar, Namibia and Zambia.
