Chris joined The Responsible Security Association (ICoCA) in 2018. The Association's membership has doubled during this period, with around 180 companies now members and affiliated. As Head of Outreach, Chris leads the Association's engagement with multi-national companies on the need for responsible private security provision, with a particular focus on the mining and extractives sectors. He has over twenty five years of experience working in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Prior to ICoCA, he oversaw grant-making to a range of non-profit organisations around the world as a Programme Officer at the Oak Foundation in Geneva. He has Masters degrees from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex and the University of Edinburgh.
