Murtiani Hendriwardani is a Policy Advisor with the IGF. Her work focuses on the policy aspects of the minerals needed for the twin energy and digital transitions. Murtiani also serves as regional coordinator for IGF member countries and institutional partners in Asia-Pacific, including the ASEAN-IGF Minerals Cooperation.

Murtiani is a dedicated and experienced practitioner with a track record in public policy research and multistakeholder engagement. She has extensive experience working across multiple sectors and functions, including financial services, management consulting, international development, and corporate foundations.

Prior to the IGF, Murtiani was involved in various sustainable development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia, including renewable energy, regulatory and institutional assessments for public–private partnerships in infrastructure, and blended financing for sustainable agriculture.

Murtiani has a BA in Political Science from Columbia University and MPA from Columbia University and the London School of Economics. She is based in Basel, Switzerland.
