Teresa Steele-Schober (MELP, MSAIMM) is a sustainability practitioner with over 25 years’ experience of evaluating and integrating environmental, social and governance considerations of mining projects via technical studies, due diligence assessments and reports in line with international mineral reporting codes. She is acknowledged as a thought leader on the importance of ESG in mineral reporting largely as a result of her work across multiple national reporting organisations. Teresa currently chairs the Southern African Mineral Reporting Codes (SAMCODES) ESG Committee, the CRIRSCO ESG Working Group and is a member of the Joint Ore Reserves (JORC) Environmental and Social Factors Working Group.
