Tatiana Aguilar leads the World Economic Forum’s platform for the mining and metals community, fostering collaboration among industry leaders and global stakeholders to advance transformation towards increasing resiliency, productivity, and responsibility. She steers public–private collaboration and thought-leadership initiatives that shape the sector’s strategic agenda and strengthen cross-industry collaboration.

With extensive experience in public management and policy, Tatiana has worked at the intersection of competitiveness, governance, and sustainability across the mining and energy sectors. She has led multidisciplinary teams in designing and implementing strategies that elevate the industry’s social and environmental performance, and has contributed to international cooperation projects, consulting, and research on natural resources and sustainable development.

An economist by training, with masters’ degrees in economics and in Social Policy and Development, Tatiana is deeply committed to bridging policy, industry, and innovation to drive lasting, systemic impact.
