The mining industry has a role to play in limiting global carbon emissions. As the European Union is looking to introduce a carbon border adjustment mechanism (CBAM), governments from resource-rich countries are assessing the likely impact of CBAM or other carbon pricing options on their revenue base. This session discusses innovative fiscal policies in support of a balanced and just decarbonization agenda.
