Malena Sell-Myllyoja is a Senior Specialist on Circular Economy at the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, where she specializes in economic policy and the global dimension of the circular economy transition. Malena joined Sitra from the trade department of the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Prior to that she worked at the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) in Geneva for over 10 years, including as Climate, Environment and Natural Resources Senior Programme Officer. She has also worked at the World Bank and at the International Institute for Sustainable Development. Ms. Sell holds an MA in Environmental Studies and a BA in International Relations (international commerce), both from Brown University in the US.
