- He was the Technical Portfolio Manager of the DFID-funded West Africa Food Markets Programme, which is catalysing investments in agribusinesses in Ghana, Nigeria, Niger and Burkina Faso with the objective of increasing food security, cross border trade along selected trade corridors and incomes for smallholder farmers in West Africa
- Prior to that he was the International Development Director of Fairtrade International
- He was the Country Director of SNV - Netherlands Development Organisation in Zimbabwe and a key member of the organisation's agriculture team
- He is a passionate believer in value chain development and other inclusive approaches to developing Africa’s agriculture in a holistic and systemic way, and spends a lot of time trying to instil that passion in the teams he leads.
- He holds degrees in Land Economy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Bsc) and University of Cambridge (Mphil), and Law (University of Ghana (LLB) and University of London (LLM)
