Bio
Dr. Sajid Amin Javed is macroeconomist with focus on social content in macroeconomic policies. With a clear focus on drawing lessons to reform public policy, he research and write about how design and conduct of macroeconomic policies shape and influence socioeconomic outcomes. Particularly, he studies implications of fiscal and monetary policies for structural inequalities and vice versa. Currently, Dr. Sajid is Research Fellow and Founding head of Policy Solutions Lab at Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) Pakistan. Before joining SPDI, he was Senior Research Fellow & Assistant Professor at Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE).

Dr. Sajid has been consult to United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia & the Pacific (UNESCAP); Asian Development Bank [ADB]; United Nations Development Programme (UNDP); Department for International Development [DFID], United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA); Islamic Development Bank [IDB], Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Overseas Development Institute [ODI], UK.
