Djaheezah Subratty currently heds UNEP's Consumption and Production Unit and leads UNEP’s Minerals and Metals Value Chains Programme. Since joining UNEP in 2010, she has held several positions, ranging from Head of Energy and Climate Mitigation Policy Unit to UNEP strategic planning and oversight, to UNEP Finance and Economic Transformations Programme Coordinator. She brings over 30 years of professional experience in the private sector, national government, and the UN system in mainstreaming sustainability into sector policies and strategies, public sector investment programmes and regional/international policy agendas.
