Harnessing international trade and investment flows for more sustainable development in a post-COVID world.
The Centre for International Sustainable Development Law (CISDL) is proposing to organize an online roundtable on International Trade and Investment, and Sustainable Development. The experts of the different programs of CISDL will share the research done by the Centre and their academic and professional insights regarding promoting sustainable development in post-Covid world through international trade and investment flows. The particular focus of the roundtable will be the recent best practices in trade and investment treaties and their contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The Roundtable will seek to answer to the following questions:
How can legal innovations harness international trade and investment flows for more sustainable development in a post-COVID world? What are the recent best practices in trade and investment treaties to foster the UN Sustainable Development Goals?
