r. Fabiano de Andrade Correa is a lawyer and legal specialist in sustainable development law and policy, with experience across the public, private and international sectors.
Fabiano works as an international legal consultant since 2012, providing technical assistance for the implementation of international agreements and the promotion of the rule of law and enabling environments at the national level. He has contributed to projects in several countries (in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia) and with different international organizations (including FAO, IDLO, the World Bank, ClientEarth, and UN Environment), with a particular focus in the areas of climate change, biodiversity, environmental law and policy, land, human rights, trade and responsible investments.
Fabiano obtained his PhD in Law at the European University Institute (EUI, Florence, Italy) from 2009 to 2013, where his thesis focused on the implementation of sustainable development in regional trade agreements. He also holds an LLM (EUI/2008), a Masters in Diplomacy and International Relations (Diplomatic School of Madrid / Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain/2007;) and an LL.B (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil/2005).
