Bio
Africa Kiiza is a researcher, activist, and development anthropologist with over eight years’ experience in Trade policy and development. He holds a Bachelors of Development Studies degree from Makerere University and MSc. in Governance and Regional Integration from the Pan African University. Previously, Africa worked with SEATINI-Uganda as a Program Officer on Multilateral and Bilateral Trade Negotiations and later as a Program Coordinator, Trade, Investment and Development where he
has participated in numerous meetings and conferences on Trade negotiations at Regional and WTO levels. He has undertaken research and written numerous articles on Global Value Chains, Digitalization and E-Commerce, Trade and Investment Negotiations, Sustainable Development Goals, Aid and Aid for Trade.

Africa Kiiza is currently a PhD Fellow, Hamburg University and a Consulting Research Fellow at the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment (CCSI).
