Karim Dostmohamed has been a member of the Board of the Europe-Africa-Caribbean-Pacific Liaison Committee (COLEACP) since 2016. COLEACP is a private sector interprofessional not-for-profit association established in 1973. It consists of a network of companies, professional organisations and experts committed to inclusive and sustainable agriculture. COLEACP supports sustainable and inclusive development of both private and public sectors through technical cooperation and capacity building programmes in 50 African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries, financed by international donors (mainly the European Union).

Karim is also CEO of Frigoken, a member of COLEACP since 2007, and the largest vegetable processing and export company in East Africa. He has been actively working in and for the horticulture sector for over 25 years.
