The Coalition of Trade Ministers on Climate was launched in early 2023, in the context of the increasing prominence of trade and climate issues globally. The coalition has prioritized inclusivity in its membership, bringing together 60 ministers from countries in every global region at every stage of development. This roundtable provides a unique opportunity for non-state actors to come together with trade ministers and those closest to the Coalition to discuss climate and trade priorities. How can we manage some of the tensions related to trade and climate issues? How can we bridge silos between the trade and climate communities? What should the next steps for the Coalition of Trade Ministers on Climate be, and how can non-state actors champion this important initiative?
